Dionex Detectors

In addition to the  General Device Commands, Chromeleon supports the following standard commands for representing the recorded data. The commands are available for most detectors (even if they supply analog signals, for example, via the UCI Universal Chromatography Interface). However, note that some detectors automatically calculate the Average, Step and MaxAutoStep parameters, so that users do not have to make these settings.

Standard Commands

Command

Description

AcqOn/Off

Start/stop data acquisition.

Autozero

Automatic autozero.

Average

Average all measured values over the Step interval.

Delta

Indicates the signal's slope, that is, the difference between the current value and the value one second ago; this is useful for Triggers.

Lamp/UV_Lamp/Vis_Lamp

Turns the UV or Vis lamp on or off.

MaxAutoStep

Sets the maximum step if Step = Auto.

Step

Step width adjustment

Wavelength

Sets the wavelength.
